There are many historical sites in or great state of South Dakota. Mount Rushmore, Devil's Gulch, Spirit Mound, The Badlands just to name a few. But what about the oldest bar in the state of South Dakota? Well according to thrillist.com its, "The Buffalo Bodega Gaming Complex" in Deadwood, South Dakota!

Established in 1877, The Gaming Complex, was actually the NEWEST bar in town when it became the city’s 18th saloon during the heyday of Buffalo Bill Cody, a close friend of original owner Mike Russell. Today, you can still drink and gamble there and even get a room at the Bullock Hotel upstairs.
