A hazy start to the week is being caused by forrest fires in northern Canada the National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls says. The smoke is “… drifting down the spine of the Interstate 29 corridor from central and northwest Canada.” The smoke is over eastern North and South Dakota extending into Nebraska.

The fires are mainly in northern Alberta and Saskatchewan and extending into Northwest Territories.
