WAGNER, S.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who was slain on the Yankton Sioux Indian Reservation last month but have released no new details about the incident.

The U.S. attorney’s office says 56-year-old David Gonzalez was shot and killed Nov. 7 at a rural Wagner residence. The FBI has previously said the shooting was part of a home invasion.

The Daily Republic newspaper reports that neither the U.S. attorney’s office nor the FBI is releasing more information, citing the ongoing investigation. Authorities in Charles Mix County also have declined comment.
