Unclaimed Prop. Money, Benda Death Details, and H.S. Football On VPU

Joy Smolinsky, with South Dakota Voices for Children, will discuss unclaimed property money put into Governor Daugaard’s Budget Proposal.  Other potential legislative issues affecting children this session will be discussed.

Reporters trying to get more information about the death of Richard Benda have been turned away by the Attorney General. He says a family member won’t sign off on release of details. Should that matter? We will talk this afternoon.

The High School Activities Association will be discussing the new, but very flawed seven class football system at their January Board Meeting. Going back to six classes is in the works. We’ll talk.
