Report: Teddy Bridgewater Likely to Miss 2017 Season
It isn't good news for Minnesota Vikings fans. A report says that Teddy Bridgewater is likely to miss the 2017 season.
Bridgewater injured his knee on a non-contact practice drill 10 days prior to the start of the 2016 season. The injury was reported to be worse than what people expected at the time.
Now Jason Cole from the Bleacher Report is reporting that Bridgewater is likely to miss the entire 2017 season. He reports that doctors have informed the team that this standard knee injury would take 19 months to recover from. That gives the early timetable for a return to be around March, 2018.
A decision about Bridgewater's future with the team will need to be made. Teddy's rookie contract with the Minnesota Vikings runs through the 2017 season, with a fifth-year option for 2018 available.
