According to Comedy Central, the "Nerdist" host of AMC's 'Talking Dead' will soon launch his own late-night talk show to debut this fall, following new episodes of 'The Colbert Report' at midnight. In celebration of the upcoming release of 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' uber-nerd and enormous J.R.R. Tolkien fan Colbert is holding a special Hobbit-themed week on his show 'The Colbert Report.'

And he kicked off the festivities Monday night with the arrival of Gandalf the Grey, Ian McKellen.
