Optometrist Admits Guilt, Faces Sentencing
An optometrist who most recently practiced in Rapid City is to be sentenced in December after pleading guilty to two felonies involving Medicaid fraud.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says 60-year-old Doctor Cary Feldman of Spearfish entered the guilty plea to grand theft by deception, a felony punishable by up to ten years in prison, and making false claims, a felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000
