DEADWOOD - Gamblers are continuing to flock to Deadwood. The western South Dakota casino hot spot is coming off its best year on record and officials say the pace is continuing in 2013.
DEADWOOD - Gambling revenue in Deadwood set a record last year. State Commission on Gaming figures show gross revenue of $107.4 million, up from $100.9 million in 2011 and $106.2 million in 2010.
Two public hearings will be held this week on a proposed new gaming compact between the state and the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate for the tribe's two casinos in northeast South Dakota.
