Southeast Tech Diversity Fair Celebrates Many Cultures, Lifestyles
A celebration at Southeast Tech is planned for Wednesday (April 26). Over 30 themes showcasing ethnic, religious and lifestyle organizations will be present.
Along with storytelling presentations, music performances will include Native American drumming, bag pipes, and Spanish choir.
The Diversity Fair will be at the Mickelson Center Commons on the Southeast Tech Campus from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

- Sonia Sotemayor Spanish Immersion School, 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM
- Celtic Steps,12:30 PM to 1:00 PM
- George McGovern Middle School, 1:00 PM
According to the Diversity Fair coordinators Jean Rose and Pat McGee, both Business faculty members, “This fair gives us the opportunity to give our students exposure to the diversity that exists within our community and within our business climate. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate our differences and how that creates a richer community to live and work in.”
