Sioux Falls Needs More Meeting Space

Convention Meeting

Teri Schmidt, Executive Director of the Sioux Falls Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, says in order for the city to attract larger conventions, we need to add more meeting room space.

On a recent visit to Washington D.C., Schmidt learned that the city is lacking in two areas – meeting room space and attached hotel rooms to the convention center.

Schmidt joined Chad in the Main Street Cafe Monday morning to talk more about what’s needed if the city hopes to grow its convention business.
