Maybe you've seen or heard the story that The Associated Press carried.on Friday.

It seems a mail carrier in the Denver area reportedly walked past a dead man to deliver the man's mail. The man, according to the story, had collapsed and died by his front door.

"Neither rain, nor sleet..."

You've heard the saying, but on its face, this story tells us we could also say that a dead body will not stay this courier from his appointed rounds.

I'm sure there's more to it, and truth be known, I'm not sure what I'd do since I've never had anything like this happen to me.

I'd like to think, though, that I would at least call for help, but the dead man's family says that wasn't done.

The family also says the carrier told them he thought it was a Halloween leftover.

Guess it was just this guy's bad luck that when he collapsed and died, it was right around Halloween, so someone thought he was a mannequin.
