SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A Los Angeles man has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges in South Dakota that could land him in prison for life if he is convicted.

Thirty-two-year-old Joe "Moses" Becker is accused of bringing a woman from St. Paul, Minn., to Sioux Falls earlier this month for the purpose of prostitution.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Becker was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of transportation for prostitution, inducing travel to engage in prostitution and sex trafficking. He is to stand trial beginning Oct. 22.
