For many, being a teenager is about playing sports and hanging out with friends. But for 16-year-old Brandon Watterson of Vermillion, his days were instead filled with chemotherapy, blood transfusions and radiation to treat his cancer. He is now in remission, but he and his mom make numerous trips to Sioux Falls for his life-saving treatments, with the hope that one day he can completely put the crisis behind him and look toward the future.
