Besides practicing law, Todd has been a broadcast journalist in South Dakota at S.D. Public TV, KSFY-TV and KDLT-TV and in Kansas at KTWU-TV. In the summer of 2013, Todd returned from an 18 month stint as a consultant at the Erbil International Airport in Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq.
