Hi, I’m JD Collins. In addition to chief operator of the Kickin’ Country Cafe, I’m also Brand Manager at Kickin’ Country. What that means is simple. I’ve been entrusted to keep this radio station doing what it does best… Kickin’.
My 3 boys are all but grown up so that leaves my wife and I with a little more time for doing things we love. Riding our Harley to Sturgis and camping in the wild country of Northern Canada are a few of the activities we enjoy. Ok… maybe we don’t do that, but we do keep busy.
Seriously, we continue to live in Sioux Falls because we’re from here! My wife grew up in Tyndall, SD and I grew up in Gods Country, Kennebec.
We know our listeners identify with statements like that. At Kickin’ Country we know there are two kinds of people. Those who live in Kickin’ Country (or where they belong) and those that wish they did.
I’ve worked at Kickin’ Country for nearly 15 years. Quite frankly, I have no idea where those years have gone. I can only tell you this… It’s never felt like a job.
To those of you who have worked through work days and school days with me…all I can say is thank you. If you listen to Kickin’ Country you hear that a LOT. But at Kickin’ Country, we know we know those are two words we can’t say enough. Thank-You for Kickin’!
