The South Dakota prison inmate that assaulted a sheriff's deputy, and stole his patrol car on Tuesday of last week, was apprehended again on Friday night in Yankton.

A man Sioux Falls police describe as a transient is accused of driving away in a vehicle that was left running outside a store.
