The latest campaign to entice young professionals to move to South Dakota is aiming to break down stereotypes of the state, showcasing the opportunities, culture and fun.

Commissioner Pat Costello of the Governors Office of Economic Development thinks the Campaign will connect with the 25 to 44 year old demographic, who recently heard a popular story of a one-way trip to mars and how moving to South Dakota by contrast is a much better option.

Costello says with 26,000 YouTube views so far, its a mark of a successful campaign already.  The official launch of the campaign is May 1, 2015.
