A year ago, the Boston Marathon started off as did any other.  One of excitement, competition and optimism, yet it ended in tragedy.

As we look back at the Boston Marathon Bombings, there have been many tributes, fundraisers and prayers for those who were lost and those who were left behind.

Sports always seems to find itself entrenched in the healing process.  From 9/11 to the Boston Marathon Bombings, Americans find solitude and almost an escape by throwing their emotions into sports.

Over this past weekend, I saw one of the neatest tributes that I saw over the last year.

The Chicago White Sox dawned the "B Strong" shirts in honor of those who were lost or injured during those horrific events last April.

A great gesture, but a bigger message.  The message being: Continue to be strong and know that we haven't forgotten.
