So far, May has been mostly cold and rainy. Summer is coming - eventually. One way to get excited for warmer weather is to hear Wild Water West will be opening soon.

Wild Water West Waterpark is set to open Friday (May 26) at 11:00 AM. The forecast for the season-opener is partly sunny and a high of 73. That's not bad.

There is a possibility of rain Memorial Day weekend, but if it's not raining and super cold, they will be open.

Wild Water West isn't just about the water. You can take a spin on the go-karts, play a round of mini-golf, hit a few balls in the batting cages, and even play sand volleyball.

However, the biggest attraction is the water. Relax and float down the Lazy River. Experience the swirling vortex in Tornado Alley. Slide down all four waterslides. Hang out in the 500,000 gallon Wave Pool. There's a swim-up bar if you get thirsty, plenty of kid-friendly spaces, a concession stand and more.

Mondays are Bring Your Friends Night. From 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM for $40 you can bring an entire group (up to 10 people).

Tuesday is Terrific Tuesday's Back to School Promotion. Every Tuesday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM admission is $5 with a school supply donation to be donated at the Banquet's Project S.O.S.

Get info on ticket prices on their website.

Wild Water West would be a great place to hold a birthday party, corporate party or reunion. Get the details and groups and parties here.
