We Must Never Forget 9/11
It was 12 years ago today terrorists attacked America, killing 2,983 people.
Militants linked to al-Qaida hijacked four planes, crashing two into the World Trade Center towers in New York City, one into the Pentagon, before a fourth plane was brought down in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
As a result, today is “Libraries Remember Day,” “Remember Freedom Day,” and “National Day of Service and Remembrance.”
And on a lighter note: today is also “Odd Day” because it’s 9/11/13.
