Vikings Up To 10th In Latest USA Today/WBCA Coaches’ Poll
LIBURN, GA — Augustana women’s basketball moved up one spot in the USA Today/WBCA Division II Top 25 Coaches’ Poll and is now ranked 10th in the country. The Vikings received 377 points in the poll and one first-place vote.
Augustana, ranked 10th in the country, is the highest ranked of the three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schools featured in this week’s poll. Concordia-St. Paul remained the same at 14th. Minnesota State jumped seven spots, sitting tied for the 17th ranking. Wayne State and MSU Moorhead also appeared in the others receiving votes section.
Bentley University (Mass.) received 27 first-place votes and held down the top spot, followed by Gannon, Emporia State, Nova Southeastern, and the University of Central Missouri rounding out the top five.
Augustana is currently 3-1 on the season and plays on Saturday, Nov. 30, taking on Midland at the Elmen Center in Sioux Falls. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
