The Latest On The Snow
Meteorologist Kerry Hanko of the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says the snow is on the way.
“We’ve got the storm moving northward now—into the central plains. We’re looking at the snow to really start kicking off in our region later on this afternoon and into the evening hours. The snow will stick around overnight and then gradually taper off pretty much from the west to the east during the day on Friday.”
So, how much snow can we expect in Sioux Falls?
“We’re looking at right around 3 to 5 inches…a pretty widespread total. We’ll be seeing that widespread basically south of Interstate 90 and lesser amounts north of interstate 90.”
