Catholic Diocese Chancellor Matt Althoff, Jan Nicholai, a member of the Governor's Pheasant Task Force, and members of the group Signature Sound will be in class at Viewpoint University Today(Friday).

Chancellor Althoff will explain the plan to convert an empty warehouse in central Sioux Falls into a shelter for the homeless. The City Planning Commission has given approval for the use. Neighbors can protest to the City Council.

Pheasant numbers have declined in South Dakota. Concern from hunters, and those who make their money from hunters caused the Governor to create a Task Force to deal with the loss of habitat, which is one of the major reasons for the decline. Jan Nicholai, from Chester South Dakota is one of the members. The group held their first meeting recently. She will give us an update and what she sees as the next steps.

Signature Sound, featuring Ernie Haase will be performing at O'Gorman High School March 15. Ernie will be on to do shameless promotion.
