Pedestrian Killed in South-Central South Dakota

A pedestrian died Sunday evening in a crash on US Highway 83, one mile north of White River, in Mellette County.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Randy Larvie, 25, of Yankton was walking on the highway around 7:50pm when he was struck by a northbound SUV driven by Jerin Warkentin, 19, of Murray, Kentucky
