Student Sent to Juvenile Detention Over Axtel Park Middle School False Fire Alarm

An Axtell Park Middle School student went to the Juvenile Detention Center one day this week after police say she pulled the fire alarm and forced other students outdoors in frigid temperatures on Wednesday.

Officer Sam Clemens says the fire alarm was pulled around 1:00 p.m.:

Clemens says the 13-year-old girl was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of false reporting. He says the students had to stay outside for 10 to 15 minutes before they were allowed back into the building.
