The South Dakota Office of Highway Safety and the South Dakota Highway Patrol have announced in which counties they will be holding sobriety checkpoints in July. The checkpoints are designed to discourage people from drinking and then driving.

There will be 25 checkpoints in these 19 counties in July.

  • Butte
  • Codington
  • Davison
  • Day
  • Gregory
  • Hamlin
  • Jackson
  • Lake
  • Lincoln
  • Meade
  • Minnehaha
  • Pennington
  • Roberts
  • Spink
  • Stanley
  • Yankton
