I’m as guilty as the next person of taking a picture with my smartphone and posting it on Facebook or Twitter. But there is cause for concern in the days of social media.
A news report shows how easily criminals can use that information, especially when it comes to posting pictures of our kids or grandkids.
The settings in our phones also tag a location thanks to map features that are standard with smartphones today. There are simple programs that other people can use to almost instantly find out the location of your child and other information like their school, daycare, favorite hangouts, and more.
