A Sioux Falls woman just might wish she had stayed away from Van Eps Park Thursday night.

Police say the woman was spotted by an officer around 11:30pm, when the park was closed.

Information Officer Sam Clemens says police talked with 34-year-old Madonna Bull Bear and learned she had warrants.

Clemens says when Bull Bear was arrested on the warrants, officers found she had several pills and a small amount of methamphetamine.

She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Clemens says the warrants were for failure to appear, petty theft and possession of a controlled substance.

The park, the location of various police calls recently, closes at 10pm.
