Sioux Falls Police Investigate Home Burglary

On Friday Sioux Falls Police were dispatched to a burglary in progress in the 5000 block of West Thurman Drive.

According to the resident, she was in bed when she heard strange noises inside of her home. When she went to investigate she was confronted by three males who were burglarizing her home. They immediately left in a red vehicle.

A short time later the vehicle was located, unoccupied, in the area of 16th and Valley View Road. Items belonging to the victim were located in the vehicle. It was later determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen on Sunday, June 16, 2013, from the 6500 block of West Verbena.
