This week's Wet Nose Wednesday is Paco. He was brought to the shelter because his owner abandoned him. He is a 7-year-old Norwegian Elkhound/Australian Shepherd mix.

Paco lived with two other dogs and did OK with them, but he did act like the alpha dog. He also likes to herd dogs and chase cats, so it would be best if he went to a home without cats.

Paco is used to living outside or in a kennel in the garage and may need a little help with housetraining. Still, he would make a great indoor/outdoor dog.

Paco does shed, but likes to be brushed. Baths - not so much.

Paco loves his food, and although he is not aggressive, he eats with gusto. So, it would probably be a good idea to go to a home with children over the age of 7.

Paco is not neutered, but he is mircrochipped, Frontlined and started on vaccinations.
