Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is donating a fire truck to the Fedora, SD Fire Department

The Fire Department in Fedora, South Dakota will take delivery on Wednesday of a fire truck from Sioux Falls Fire Rescue.
SFFR Division Chief Jeff Helm says the truck being donated, a 1992 Spartan/Central States model, was replaced by a new engine this past May.
The Fedora Fire Department will use the donated truck to replace a 1968 Ford F700.
Helm says it's not the first time Sioux Falls Fire Rescue has donated retired fire trucks to departments in need.
He says previous fire truck donations by SFFR have gone to departments in Wentworth, Spencer, Fairview, Tea, Renner, and Hudson.
