The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls recorded a temperature of 70 degrees which is a record high temperature for November 21.  The mark was reached just before three o’clock Wednesday afternoon.  The previous record high was 68 which was set back in 1960.

This probably will be the warmest temperature Sioux Falls will experience for the rest of 2012.  Strong winds will usher a cold front into the region with high temperatures approaching 50 by noon on Thanksgiving Day, then struggle to get to 30 on Friday with lower 40’s for the weekend.
