One Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash
Investigators say speed and alcohol were not factors in a two-vehicle crash that killed one person Thursday afternoon in rural Minnehaha County.
The sheriff’s office says crews were called around 5:15pm to Midway Corner on State Highway 115.
Investigators say a pickup that was northbound on 115 struck a westbound passenger car that had stopped for a stop sign at 254th Street and was crossing the highway.
The driver of the westbound car died at the scene, while the pickup driver and a passenger were taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with minor injuries.
No names have been released.
