Moderate damage, but no injuries are reported from a fire early Monday in a house at 504 South Bahnson Avenue in eastern Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Mark Bukovich says crews were called around 3:15am, and the first units to arrive found fire in a roof over a patio and deck attached to the house, as well as insulation burning in the attic.

The fire was out in about 15 minutes, but crews stayed on the scene for about three more hours.

The homeowner had discovered the fire and everyone was out of the building when firefighters arrived.

No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.

The house had moderate fire damage.
