New Attention-Grabbing Image

Getty ImagesSo I’m sitting here looking at the “Open Sign” I’ve been using on my previous posts and trying to figure out what to write about.  And then it dawns on me…the picture.  An open sign?  Really?  I think I can do better than that.  So, I decide to head to the Internet and look for a new image.  Do you have any idea how many pictures are out on the web?  I would be interested in someone actually doing a research project on that someday.  With all the Government research money out there, I would think someone would be able to come up with a few dollars.  It actually got the point where I had to walk away from my computer and clear my head.  (That, and the fact a co-worker asked me if I wanted to join him out on the deck for a cigarette, even though I don’t smoke.  But as we all know, if you want to get caught up on the latest gossip you have to hang out with the smokers).  So I get the latest gossip (talk about juicy). go back inside and sit down at my desk.  It was then the perfect picture jumped out at me,  grabbed me by the collar and said to me, “Pick me you idiot.”  After downloading what seemed like over 80-million images (okay, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but it was a lot) would you believe I finally ended up going with…the very first picture I came acrossUgh!  There’s three hours of my life I’ll never get back.  So what do you think?  I think it’s perfect (until, of course, I get tired of this one and then I’ll go through the whole process again).  Plus, as my Grandpa used to say, “ It’s kinda Artsy-Fartsy!”
