Minnesotan Loses License For Driving Too Slow

Driving under the speed limit could cost you your license. Just ask Gary Constans of Lester Prairie, Minnesota.

He was pulled over by police 9 times and received 9 warnings about driving too slow. In one case, reports show that Mr. Constans was driving 30 mph in a 55 mph zone.

His reason? So he could “avoid hitting a critter” if one should be in the road. He goes on to say that he’s trying to save gas, too.

The 59 year old can’t understand why authorities have a problem with the way he drives. He says it’s not like he’s smoking or drinking while driving.

The appeals court on Monday said Constans’ disregard for traffic laws creates dangerous driving conditions for others. Amen.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
