Freeman Police Chief Pleads Guilty to Drug Charge
Authorities say 35-year-old Eric Seitz obtained prescription medicine from different doctors at the same time, which is a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 60 days of unsupervised probation and ordered to pay about $447 in fines and court fees. He also must get a chemical dependency evaluation.
City Attorney Mike Fink tells The Daily Republic newspaper that Seitz is currently suspended from his job, and city officials will be determining his future.
