Forecast the Weather By Eating An Apple?
Saturday also just happens to be “National Eat An Apple Day.”
So, I need you to call me Monday morning and let me know if this year’s apple crop has thick skins or thin skins. Or you can leave a comment here or on Facebook.
My Grandpa used to have a saying, “Thick apple skin, tough winter.” I have no idea what he based this on, but I would be curious to see if there’s any truth to the saying. My plan is to do a comparison next Spring to see what kind of winter we had.
