In Milwaukee, a local government official decided to take it upon himself to get a local bar to remove the hundreds of bras that hung from the ceiling of the local establishment.

The argument given was - the bras were a fire hazard.

The tradition actually goes back 45 years, when the owner at the time had a few too many and decided to throw her bra over some skis hanging from the ceiling.

That's how the practice of leaving your bra at the Holler House began.

ABC News takes it from there.
