Aberdeen Man Charged with Possessing Child Porn

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) – An Aberdeen man has been charged with possessing child pornography after authorities say 150 images were found on his computer.
The American News in Aberdeen reports that 47-year-old Jon P. Kendall appeared in court Wednesday. He was charged with 12 counts of possessing child pornography. Kendall did not enter a plea.
Prosecutors say authorities found 150 images of child pornography on his computer and a memory card.
Each charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
Kendall is out of jail after posting $1,000 of a $10,000 bail.
A phone number listed for Kendall was not working Wednesday.
