Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky still says he's innocent of child sexual abuse, but a jury says otherwise.

And now he will spend at least 30 years in prison, and he would have to be nearly 100 before he can possibly get out.

At his sentencing on Tuesday, Sandusky said he didn't do it and that he will appeal.

But it's hard to discount so many young men who say they were sexually abused by the former coach, in some cases many years ago, in his home and in the Penn State athletic facilities.

Could all those accusers be wrong? Probably not.

Could Sandusky be delusional? I'm not the expert.

But here's someone who was trusted, and who more or less brought down a storied football program, and made the school something like the punch line to a bad joke.

You know, Penn State to State Pen, that kind of thing.

There is justice, but it doesn't look like anybody won.

And Pennsylvania State University will need many years to restore its standing in the public mind.
